Won’t this be fun!

You thought sarcastically as you entered the long driveway. “Do you think big bruder would have noticed that I’m gone?” Lilly asked quietly from beside you in the car, her eyes slightly red from crying.

You pointed her to make up wipes in your hand bag so she could clean off her face before you reached the house. Sighing as the sound of gun shots and yelling became louder the closer to come to the building.

“Yeah, he knows” was all you could say. Remaining calm on the outside but internally freaking out.

“Verdammt Lily, wo zum Teufel bist du!" came the strict, angry voice of an over protective male as you pulled into the culdersac.

“Come on lil, time to face the music“ you replied to the young Liechtensteinian girl who exited the car quickly and quitely with her head bent in shame.

“LIECHTENSTEIN! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN! _______! WHERE DID YOU FIND HER!!!“ The anxious blonde ran down the white marble steps from the porch as you made your way over.

“Vash. We need to talk“ you said seriously surprising the hard core male with your tone.

"Ja, ja... come in and we can talk but first I-" he began as the three of you walked up the steps and into the large hall but you stoped him with a simple hand flick.

"Lily, go upstairs now while I talk to your bruder. Do not go anywhere until I call for you, you know why.“ You said shooing the young girl away as she began to scramble up the stairs, shooting you a grateful apologetic face beore dissapearing to her room.

You sighed rubbing your face with a hand in frustration, it had been a long time since you had felt this annoyed over something. You had always loved how peaceful Switzerland had always been as a country, seeing it a a place of serentiy and security. It was always to sweet to see how protective and careful Vash was in taking care of his younger sister and as a weak nation yourself you experienced this kindness first hand.

It had been a few years since you had been living full time with the Zwingli’s after Vash had helped you recover from wars and terrorist attacks. Supporting your government and assiting you in rebuilding it into a stronger nation.

But this time he had gone too far with his protectiveness, successfully failing to educate his sister enough that she knew how to protect herself from dangerous situation. And somehow this statement in itself made no sense. Vash, not teaching her to protect herself? Really??? VASH!?!?!

“_______? Vhat is ze matter? Vhy was Lily sent upstairs?” Switzerland asked looking at you with confusion. He never mistrusted your judgement, you had always been so patient, kind and level headed and he respected that. But then again you had never acted like this before!

Instead of answering you wandered into the lounge room, mentally groping for words to try and explain the situation rationally. “_______?” Vash asked again following you into the lounge.

“You may want to sit,” you said quietly and he obeyed looking up at you gravely with a slightly confused expression.

“Vash,” you said softly “why doesn’t lily know about the dangers of men.” You said trying to word it in the gentlest way possible. There was a long pause and you turned to see the older nation blushing uncontrollably. “She knows not to talk to them…” he mumbled and you took a deep breath.

“Vash” your voice was now wavering dangerously, “why does she not know that female personifications are not allowed sexual relationships with human men and why has she never heard of things like rape!” The last word came out rather strained as you were on the verge of losing your temper.

The Swiss boys face changed from red to scarlet then to a cold dark purple. “Vhy do you ask?” his voice came out husky and tense.

You sucked on your teeth, not wanting to continue but at the same time wanting to completely chew him out for not preparing Lily for this.

“______,” he said louder and more tensely, “Vhat happened?”

“She was at the pub and a man-“you began and that’s all it took as Vash was off like a shot. He marched at top speed outside pulling out his gun as he went.

You ran after him, desperately trying to stop him or at least slow him down. “VASH! Going trigger happy at the guys at the pub isn’t going to solve this!”
But strong young man took no notice as he stormed down the steps to his 4 wheel drive army jeep.

“Zey vill regret ever touching miene schwester!” he barked, accent growing stronger and louder the angrier he got.

“Vash! VASH!” You snatched on final time at his arm and managed to grip his wrist.

Yanking him back to face you, you yelled “STOP IT! Calm down! It’s not just their fault! And even if that guy was still there this wouldn’t fix the fact that your sister willingly and naïvely sat on this man’s lap letting to begin with, before he began feeling her up! SHE DIDN’T EVEN KNOW IT WAS WRONG BECAUSE YOU NEVER TOLD HER!!!”

That made him stop, as he stood rigid in the middle of the white gravel culdersac. You let him stand there for a moment to take in everything you just said then walked forward taking his strong, calloused hand in both of your smooth ones.

“Vash, she needs to be protected. But that means she must understand what to be careful of.” You said softly and sadly looking into his gleaming green eyes. Finally he nodded and gave you a defeated “Ja.”

You smiled and led him back inside, still holding hands. “Well, you need to talk to Lil now. She knows that she will be punished for her actions, but you still need to explain why we can’t do that.” You said, slowly and slightly reluctantly letting go of Vash’s hand.

To be honest you did enjoy it when you got to show your affection towards Vash in a way he would accept and possibly return it. Sadly it wasn’t often the chance presented itself.
Turning to leave the house again, you raised your hand in a wave good bye only to have it grab and pulled back.  You stumbled back into Vash, heart skipping a beat as he steadied you with a hand on either arm.

“_____! I need your help!” his paused looking away but never moving.

“Lily looks up to you like a sister and I don’t think I can…can explain it as well as you could. You’re always so patient, and know the right vords to say….I-I just….I need you to be zhere…” He stuttered cheeks dusted pink as he dropped his hands and looked at the floor.

All you could do was laugh. “Of course Vash! If you want my help I will do it!” you chuckled and he gave a sigh of relief. “Vell, I will go get Lily, you go sit in ze lounge.”

He rushed up stairs and you her him knock sharply in Liechtenstein’s door and say something along the lines of ‘family meeting…..now.’ You blushed at the thought of being ‘part of the family,’ though it was true you had lived he for a long time and you still frequently visited the idea gave you butterflies. But you shooed away silly day dreams on the subject, deeming them as nonsense and ready to get back to business.
Ok so here is part 2!!! Enjoy!
